Our products all contain natural preservatives because it is important that our products are not only efficacious but also completely safe. 

No. Velettà’s signature scent is jasmine (a natural fragrance), which is included in our products because of its beautiful natural scent, hormone-balancing properties, and ability to regulate sebum production. 

A  Velettà does not include sunscreen because we do not trust the sunscreen in skincare products to fully live up to the claimed SPF number, as mixing it with other ingredients may dilute the formula. You should find a scientifically proven sunscreen and apply it after layering on your Velettà products as your final skincare layer (before makeup) and reapply it during the day.

Yes. Velettà devotees with sensitive skin report only have good things to say about our beautiful natural products. However, it is always advisable to patch-test a new product first. We suggest that people with sensitive skin choose our Velettà Youthful Glow AHA Radiance Treatment over our Purifying Mask as an exfoliator. Chemical exfoliants are far more gentle than manual exfoliants.

Even if you have oily skin, using moisturisers is essential for maintaining skin health and balance. Oily skin can be prone to excess sebum production, leading to clogged pores and acne. However, skipping moisturisers can exacerbate the problem by causing the skin to overcompensate for the lack of hydration, resulting in even more oil production. By using lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizers, like Velettà Nourishing Moisturiser, Velettà Youthful Glow Intensive Hydrating Treatment and even our Rejuvenating Oil, you can hydrate the skin without clogging pores or causing breakouts.

Skincare should always be stored in a cool, dark place away from sunlight and heat. In summer we love to store Velettà Nourishing Moisturiser in the fridge as it is cool and delicious on the skin.

Exfoliating the skin is crucial for maintaining a healthy and radiant complexion. Regular exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and prevent the build-up of dirt and impurities. This process stimulates cell turnover, promoting the growth of new, fresh skin. By eliminating the outer layer of dull and damaged skin, exfoliation enhances the effectiveness of skincare products, allowing them to penetrate deeper and work more efficiently. It also aids in reducing acne, blemishes, and uneven skin tone, leading to a smoother and more even texture. Velettà has two exfoliating products: Velettà Purifying Mask (a once-a-week treat) and Velettà Youthful Glow AHA Radiance Treatment (used 2 or 3 times a week). 

 Apply the Cleansing Oil to dry skin and massage it into the skin using upwards strokes. Remove the oil with a warm, wet cloth. When used properly, cleansing oil leaves the skin perfectly clean but beautifully soft and nourished.
